10 February 2011

Hi everyone!

We are almost at the end of our first full school week for 2011. Lots of things have been happening, including C.A.L.C. (Creating A Learning Community) activities. It has been great fun getting to know each other. We have made a class web out of string, shared about our favourite school experiences, decided on 3/4B Class Values, and made Classroom Drawings. If you come along to our classroom you will see our "Who Am I" drawings and sentences on the windows. Can you guess who we are?!

Our class values for 2011 are Peace, Fairness, Hard work, Respect and Friendship. All the students have been doing their best to demonstrate these values in the classroom and playground.

We have decided on our monitors for Term 1. A few new monitors are added this year, including Technology, Corridor, and Class Helpers. There are so many talented people in our class, I am looking forward to seeing all the students develop their skills in leadership.
This week we also started some maths and completed a birthday graph! It was interesting to see which months have many birthdays, and which have none! (August).

I have attached some photos of our "Who Am I" drawings for you to see. They look great!
