Aussie of the Month!

Well done to Andrew for winning Kerrimuir's Aussie of the Month for September 2011!  We are so proud of you and congratulate you on this wonderful achievement.

Antonyms

3/4B are working on Antonyms. Antonym is another word for opposite. Like for example: hot and cold or wet and dry. We even made posters. They are all great ones. Then we are going to turn the posters into a BOOK! This what our posters had.

polite and rude, full and empty, young and old, sell and buy, messy and tidy, hot and cold, short and long, rich and poor, hard and soft, clean and dirty, nice and naughty, light and dark, hello and goodbye, up and down, dead and alive, good and bad, brave and scared, and finally on and off.

This is what our posters looked like:

Circus Skills

For the past few weeks each class at Kerrimuir has been enjoying some fantastic workshops with circus performers. The students will be sharing about their experiences soon, but for now here is a photo to enjoy! Well done Aryan and Andrew!
